Helloo from Socal!

Hi everyone. I'm Owen from socal, I'm around many other fish forums, under OwenL (i know pretty creative isn't it?) or x0x0x0 or kribsandcons. Though I joined the forum back in February, I never got around to actually introducing myself or posting. lol. I'm a betta keeper who doesn't have bettas... well technically I do have bettas, just not betta splendens. I keep "wild" Betta species. B. Channoides, B. Brownorum and B. Coccina in particular. Next week I'll have some B. Imbellis so I guess that's almost like B. Splendens. :) I used to keep B. Splendens almost a decade ago then got into cichlids and went all crazy cichlid-fanatic. Now i'm back to Bettas.

Hi Owen

Any chance you'll be posting pictures of your wild bettas? We'd love to see some.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Thank you everyone for the welcomes! :) I will be posting pics of my wild bettas once I find my camera. lol All my tanks are stained with tannin so the waters are all so dark. It's gonna be a challenge getting a "clear" picture but I'll figure it out.
