New and Hooked Already

I let my granddaughter get a Betta while out on a "girls day", but the Betta brought Big frown faces from the parents, so Lucky came home with me. My husband says I'm a nut. I've done nothing online for a week except read about bettas, the water, the tanks, the plants, the diseases, the stories, the pictures., Been to every pet store in town looking at supplies and of course more Bettas. I'm trying to hold back, but I'm pretty sure I've already decided there will be at least one more Betta in our house. I've decided I should wait at least a month before adding another. He's already had three quick upgrades in his house from a small vase like bowl, to a larger vase like container to a 2 gallon container with a heater. I find myself looking atthe 5 gallon tanks.

So glad there are forums like these. I can't believe how many people are on here. Didn't know Bettas were so popular.

Thanks for all the help i've already received here.....

Hello and welcome to the forum Bettas are beautiful fish full of personality.

Just be warned that they're also very addictive :)

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.
