Expecting Ghost Shrimp

Got 3 more ghost shrimp today, one is pregnant/berried. If the babies survive either the filter, or I get it into a temp bowl in time so other fish don't eat them. What do the babies eat? Or how should I go about this?

Usually most ghost shrimp babies won't hatch and fully form into an adult unless the are in brackish water.

Hmm Well they may or may not. I just got them, and they went into my Molly tank which is brackish.

I've never seen baby ghosties, or heard of them actually surviving, if they do congrats! I'm guessing you could feed them any crushed up fish food. Adults eat anything, so crushed up pellets or flakes should work in a pinch.

Since they eat just about anything, their normal food just crushed small enough will likely work.
