Stores and fish

Ok so I live in springfield virginia, and cannot for the life of me find a store that carries cherry shrimp. They all seem to have tons of ghost shrimp. Does anyone who's been to this area know where some may be purchased or better yet know where yellow or blue pearl shrimp may be purchased?

I don't know where else. I go to PetSmarts and only 1 of them have Ghost Shrimp. I just bought 4 today. I put them in a Hospital Tank just in case.
I have the same problem as you. Ghost Shrimp, yes. Cherry Shrimp, no.
I wonder if people sell them online... They're too Fragile though.

Over hundreds of bettas die in their small, dirty cups each day. Only you can help them live. Research and then save them, today!

Tons and tons of people sell cherry shrimp online.
And they are as hardy as fish. If you want to look for them online, look for a person that ships young shrimp, as young shrimp are actually hardier and adapt to new water conditions better. Adult shrimp tend to be weakened/die when placed in a new tank with different parameters.

taking a break from fish-keeping.
3 lovely male betta still keep me company.

I went to a place called Pristine Aquariums and they had a tank of ghosts but no cherries and apple snails but nerites.

I can call a place I'm familiar with in lacaster Pa to see if they have them because they ship with a guarantee that they'll be alive and healthy. I was just hoping I could pick them up without buying sight unseen.
