Probably won't work----breeding nerites?
I have decided to go all natural in my 5 gallon which means removing the silk plants that my nerite snail had laid eggs on about a week or so ago.
I had the brilliant idea of trying to hatch the eggs so I put them in a 2 gallon full of "brackish" water.
The "brackish" water is 2 gallons, no filter, un-aerated, treated with Prime and a heaping tablespoon of aquarium salt.
What are the chances they will hatch?
Do you think the eggs were too old to hatch?
How often should I change the water?
Should I put in an airstone or something?
