Angle Fish

I have been doing a LOT of research on Betta fish. But, after talking to my fiance, I find out he is an ANGEL FISH LOVER. Lol ol. Deceived! Just kidding. It's almost midnight, a bit loopy I am.

Anyway. What can you all tell me about Angle fish? I plan on doing my own research, but hearing from you all, who have experience, would be great, too. Just give me some basic info. :)

Big pretty fish. One of the few suited to a taller tank. :) 29 gallon minimum, I hear. Thus, my vast pool of knowledge is expired. :p

Life.

Yes they need a very tall tank as I believe they can end up with deformed fins if kept in a tank that is too short. They grow quite large (I think it's altum angels that get really massive) and being cichlids can be aggressive. I think if you have a group of them and two pair up they will terrorise the rest, but I am not 100% sure.

That's about all I know off the top of my head.

Angel fish do better in groups of 5 of more, if you have just two for example, one will end up chasing the other around. Or I've seen groups of 3 where 2 of them chased the one. They do get pretty big though so you'll need a big enough tank to have a group of full grown angel fish.
