what can i add to my tank with my vieltale?

i have a really nice looking vieltail and would like to know what other types of fishies i can add to my tank so he has some other friends to hang with. i know that the other fish will need there own food and i am prepared to get it i just need to know what type's of fish i can add to my 10 gallon tank. I have a placo in there now. i just would like to have a few more friends for him in the tank you know.

Bettas don't have "friends". They may interact with other fish, but it will either be a territorial instinct (trying to chase them away) or just curiosity.

Your pleco is going to outgrow your ten gallon. At the moment, you are completely stocked with just a betta and a pleco, as plecos have a very large bioload.

The type of fish you can add (once you rehome the pleco) is largely dependent on your water parameters. What is your hardness and pH?

Life.

i added 2 zebra's and a silver molly to my tank. the veiltail does not seem to mind them at all. he does play with one of the zebra fish for a few minutes at a time. King seems to like his new play mates and has not attacked any of them thus far.
