Question How many guppies to a 10 gallon?

Hi guys, I have been thinking that I'd like to have some guppies in a 10 gallon NPT. I was wondering how many I could have in there? The tank would be exclusively for guppies.

Thanks!
Saphira

I don't know a lot about guppies, but I would say around 6 would be a good general amount. Sorry, Im not very good with advice since I am normally asking for advice, not giving it. Maybe someone more experienced with them could help you out?

Hi guys, you've probably noticed I'm not on as much. The reason for that is the fact that I'm so much busier than I was last year. Also, I'm in the school play for once. (Squee!) So, I probably will be popping around everyone once in while anyway. But, until then- toodles!

That's something to think about. It would either be all male, or I would set up a separate tank for the fry.

If you're not going for all males or all females, make sure you have at least 2 females to every male.

A ratio I'm finding works awesome for me right now is one male and 4+ females. The girls aren't getting harassed too much, and it keeps my male busy. lol

@Skye
Niice, lol.

@Saphira
In my 10 I initially started out with 6 males then had to take one back because he kept harassing the other boys. Before that though, I had Honey, one oto and the six. If I didn't have Honey I could have had about... 10, at absolute max. 7-9 preferable I think.
