Baby Platys, when to put back into community?

I have two baby fry that are platys. I had moved them over into a seperate tank. One of the babies has its color, the whole body is well developed but its still very small and one of the fish is still white-ish and has no color, but i was wondering when the right time would be to put them back into community tank? Obviously the noncolored one is not ready yet but the fully colored one is just on the small side. i dont want to keep them in that tank forever because obviously id rather them be with the other fish. Here are some pictures, if they even help at all.

the general rule of thumb is when they're no longer small enough to fit in anyone's mouth. So cute though!!!
