10 Gallon stocking?

Hey all! I recently acquired a nice little 10 gallon and I can't wait to stick some fish in it. But of course I want some ideas so I know where to go. I have been drooling over the powder blue dwarf gouramis for some time now and I think I may get one for my tank. Or should I get two? Can I have other fish in there as well? I'd ideally like one dwarf gourami, a little school of either guppies or neons, and maybe three cories. The cories are a big maybe though and they would be dwarfs as well. I intend on getting at least five little fish (under 1.5 inches) if I do go that route. So will this be ok? I currently care for three betta tanks and a rainbow shark tank and all are healthy and well so I know I can handle the care needs of these fish, I just don't want to overcrowd or match up fish that will be miserable together.

In my old 10g I had a guppy or two, a gourami, a snail, a pleco, and cory cat. But I was 10 so I had no idea what "stocking" was but I would suggest getting the gourami and maybe a couple guppies and btw cories should be kept in shoals of 6 or more ;)

I have 4 bettas:Venus,Firefly,Pumpkin, and Unnamed

i agree with tigerhappy26.i see you like sparkling gourami is which is quite hardy. You could have a group of 3-5 in a planted 10g. with some cory catfish in a school of six.

I also found some really lovely honey gouramis too. Gahh so many decisions! I think I will seriously look into either a group of Sparklings with some cories or a honey with gold neons and a few albino cories!

well sense i am a personal fan of honey gourami i would get those but they are a little aggressive more then the sparkling gourmai . With the sparkling gourmai sense those are your favorite fish you could have the small shoal.

Do you think that Sparklings will work well with a small shoal of tetras or neons?
