Question about feeding...

I'm wondering if I'm feeding correctly. I don't want to over feed the four seprae tetras in my tank and I don't want to starve them either. So how much should I be feeding them?

I have been doing a small pinch twice a day and they act like they are starving when I do put it in the tank.

55g: 5 Serpae tetras, 6 Columbian tetras, 6 blue tetras, Harry Putter nerite snail, Sonny ivory mystery snail, 5 Dalmatian Molly's.
10g: lots of shrimp...blue and ghosts
10g: 6 blue tetras, Tigger orange striped nerite snail, 5 green fire tetras and lots of shrimp, and Bonnie, Sonny and Cher ADF frogs
5g: Nemo half moon Betta purple and white.

I have tetras too. I find it works best if you take a few flakes and crumple them over the tank, so there's food but of they eat most of it they won't get overfed.

No fish for now

That's how I have been doing it. So, I guess I've been doing it correctly.

Fish will always act like they are starved. Fish are opportunistic feeders; they don't know that they're guaranteed a meal every day or so. When they find a meal in the wild, they will generally guard it and eat is as fast as a they can and all of it too regardless of the size of whatever it is because they don't know the next time they'll be able to find food. They still do this in captivity because obviously, they don't know that they'll get food daily. So yes it is normal for them to act like they are starved but they really aren't.

They should be able to eat all the food within 30 seconds to a minute roughly and that should satisfy them all day :)

Alright then I am feeding correctly. Within 30-60 seconds the food is completely gone. Thanks for your quick response.
