When I turned the light on my tank this morning I noticed something swimming that was not a ghost shrimp. At first I thought that somehow a current was moving a small piece of a plant around, but I have no filter, and this little creature was moving around too much anyways. Unfortunately, I only have one, rather blurry picture of the thing before it moved to the back of the tank. In this picture it is pretty much in the center. I don't see any legs, or really anything that would indicate that this was anything other than a dislodged part of a leaf or other plant part, other than the fact that it moves around quite a lot!
Remember that the tank your fish lives in is his or her's whole world. Ask yourself this question, and answer it honestly: would you choose to live there?
