anubias plant help.

Anyone know how to take care of a rhizomes of Anubias eyes plant? I order some off of ebay but they start to rot and i don't know what to do.

The water temp. is set 75-82 and it's just floating in my fry tank. I give it about 8-9 hrs of fluorescent lights.

cut off the part that is rotting (hopefully there arent any leaves on it, once the rot reaches the leaves you've lost your plant :(. )

oh no :( i dont believe it will do any good for the plant. all of the leaves?

well it rotten to the leaves but the leaves is still attach to the root/stem, there are 2 leaves left out of 6 leaf when i gotten the plant.

hmm, it doesnt matter if it's attached. once the rot has spread that far, it's pretty much doomed. well... continue to allow it to float in a high flow area. cut of all the rot you possibly can. rhizome rot caused by a bacterial infection, it's only curable if you catch it early :(
