What kind of fertilizer should i use?

Hi, I was wondering which fertilizer should i use? That is betta safe? Or are they all betta safe? Any fertilizer i should avoid?

Are there more simple fertilizer that is cost efficient?

I currently have some duckweed, frogbits, dwarf lettuce, 5 java ferns, 4 different types of aponogeton, java moss, 1 water onion, 1 banana lily.

seachem flourish is a good brand. you can also get roottabs from seachem for the rooted plants.

I use co2 booster and leaf zone. I hear a lot of people like seachem though.

I got the seachem Flourish, and brought some some osmocote+ capsules.

I was wondering is dousing according to the label fine for bettas? or will it be too much?

I dose mine normally, I haven't had or noticed any problems with mine.

Like I said though I'm using leaf zone,
hopefully some more people actually using that product will help!

I use Aqueon Aquarium Plant Food, sometimes with Seachem Excel in the morning because it is a CO2 booster, no point putting it in at night. The plants are growing alright.

My boss let me try his Aqua Design Group's liquid Potassium and Green Brightly liquid fert. It's like my plants were growing on steroids in one day. But that stuff is expensive. He uses the ferts for the RCS 2.5g NPT in his office.

Thanks

I stuck one of the sea chem root tabs next to a banana plant I have in the aquarium. The plant is now sprouting roots like crazy and it has leaves and "banana's" that are bigger and look nicer than when it was in the store... so the seachem tabs are good if you have inert substrate and no actual mineral medium in the tank or as an additive to an npt.

Rat bellies are a gateway drug...and I'm addicted

I'm a little paranoid about the osmocote. especially in small tanks. :P I killed my ghost shrimps once eith osmocote, strangely enough, my cherry shrimps survived >.>
