Planted progress in a 2.65g

I think we're coming along pretty well. I think next big water change I may cluster all the Swords around the filter and get Pennywort or Bacopa for the heater side. Any suggestions?

Also you can see little Jacques the Amano shrimp in the lower left corner of today's photo near the glass in the Christmas moss.

Very pretty fish. I like the tank too, like shape. The driftwood looks really nice.

Thank you, thank you!

A friend of mine thought the driftwood looked like bacon!

I like the previous layout. The focal point was on the one driftwood, whilst the current layout diverts the attention away ^___^ you can try turning the dw on the right so that it also faces points left and see how that looks.

very healthy looking plants though =D

how is that filter doing for you?

Thanks for the feedback. I thought it looked crowded but couldn't work it out. I will try facing it the other way.

Thanks for noticing the plants, I'm hoping my luck continues.

The filter is working okay. I modified it by taking out insert it came with and stuffed it with sponges and baffled the top with a piece of sponge. Marigold is happy to swim all around the filter, so I think it suits him.
