Question Help identifying plants?

I ordered a package of live plants, sellers choice. It finally got here and the plants are pretty but I have no idea what they are and where they should be. Can you help me identify them? And tell me where they should be (tied to wood, in gravel, etc.). Also feel free to tell me if I'm doing this all wrong. I'm still new to planted tanks.

First up is this... What the heck is this?

that's ALOT of cholla wood!
so in order...

- A Marsilea Species
usually stays short, somewhere in the foreground will be suitable
- Banana lily
I usually put mine to the side, might sens out liky pad like leaves.
if you prefer for it to stay smaller, cut the adventitious leaves.
- Java moss
Tie to drift wood!
- Water wisteria
Can work nicely as a mid ground plant, non centered
- Hairgrass
looks like a dwarf species, usually a midground plant
- Java fern
tie to something :) leave roots free
- Crypt.... I think lol.
plant roots in substrate~

Thank you very much!

And yes, that is a lot of cholla wood! I ordered a bunch and put them all in my 20 gal since I don't have other tanks for them to go into. Once I get my 55 gal all set up I'll take some out. :)
