Beautiful!! I am excited to go home in 3 weeks to get my 20 long and turn it into my new sorority tank!!

My dream is to educate the world about animals and show them that they are just as important as us

5 gallon with Socrates
20 gallon long with 2 new boys (divided)
10 gallon with Ariel
2.5 with Maximus

a word to the wise, your rocks look way to big for any root system to do well in. I relize you have dirt underneath but I wouldn't be surprised if you run into issues. usually 2mm diameter gravel does the trick,,,, even better yet to cap the dirst with sand =)

Nice tank!
however, I'm wondering about whether the cap is sufficient. have you tested your nitrates? sometimes the soil can leech nutrients when the cap isn't fine enough

Good question ^____^
Usually it's just nitrates because that what they use as fertiliser o_O
