Anubias is best tied with fishing line. Aside from the fact that it's nice not to see where you tied it (as sloppy as it might get xD) it's also something that won't corrode in your tank while it's sitting in there for forever and a day while your anubias flourishes and gets itself established. The reason why is this plant is meant to anchor itself into the driftwood or rock and it's why you don't plant it in the substrate or leave it floating. Eventually when it gets big and strong you can actually remove the fishing line because the roots will have burried into the wood itself.
I actually have had mine for a couple of years and I've noticed the roots have started attatching and burrowing into the rock I tied it to. I'm starting to think I don't need the line to keep it attatched anymore, but I'm a little paranoid!! ^.^;
