Moderate lighting for a 10 gallon?

What is the best moderate lighting equipment I can get for a standard 10 gallon aquarium?

Best meaning, best deal while still giving what I need.

Right now I just have one of those economy incandescent hoods that have two sockets and I'm running two 10 watt 6500k bulbs.

Someone with more experience can correct me if I'm wrong, but you might have enough for moderate-light plants as is. I have the same set-up you have and the plants I have are pretty happy and are propagating nicely

Well, I am dividing my tank 3-ways and I want to make sure I have even light distribution as well.

Same here The lighting definitely isn't as even when it's divided, but it's not horrible. However, I have a hood like this (it may even be the same model, but it came in a kit so I'm not certain) on my 15 gallon and love it... Since the light is just a single tube spanning the length of the tank it distributes light evenly and it even comes with a 8000K bulb.

It's funnier in Enochian.

Well, I got an idea last night and I used foil tape as a reflective surface and lined the inside of the hood with it.

My tank looks much brighter now.
