new plants and lighting?

I have recently got some random anubias species and some willow moss (Fontinalis Antipyretica). Would my 11 watt flouro globe be enough for my 8g? The willow moss won't need more light than the anubias. I'de give more information about the light but I can't find any.

Sorry no one has answered this yet!

The 11 watt should be fine, what you're looking for is a light that goes all the way to the bottom of the tank, not just midway down. But anubias and most mosses are low light plants so you should be fine either way as long as they get about 8 hours of light a day.

Although I'm not very experienced in moss other than Flame moss and Java moss, I believe Willow moss is very similar to Java moss and thus should have similar requirements.

Thanks my moss has been growing a tiny bit. I plan on getting a java fern in the future if these plants go well. c:

Np! I was doing some more research and found that Willow moss is the only one with a High Light requirement lol, so to keep it alive you'll definitely need a higher light source. anything around 20 watts should be good, but again, you're looking for something that will penetrate the water enough so that it reaches the bottom; that's high lighting as far as I'm aware.
