Adding a new tank to the mix...

So my boyfriend got the idea in his head that he wants a RCS tank. We have a leftover 2.5 gallon that I was considering using for it. I want to make it nothing but plants (no hardscape.) It will be a NPT like my 2 5 gallons. That being said... thoughts?

Sounds great. I can recommend this site. My healthies and darkest RCS came from Matt.

That sounds like a great idea... Shrimp love plants, especially mosses. And, if you have extra trimmings from the 25, you can save a bunch of money!

I say go for it. I'm in the process(ada cycle) of starting another shrimp tank. Shrimps are always fun to look at. Shrimp tanks and betta tanks ftw

Its two 5 gallons. I do have a few trimmings, but I kind of wanted it to look unique as well. With different plants. Any ideas?

How many shrimp can I keep in there? What are my options once the population gets too large? I already keep amano shrimp in my other tanks, but I have no experience with babies and RCS.

I keep over 20 RCS in my 2.5. They LOVE mosses. Marimo and java I have and the babies just get all over it.
