Depends whats in the tank like if theres pond snails they will deteriorate so fast and die. Temperature is a factor too the lower the better and its a floating plant it thrives from being closer to the light.

If you buy plants please please do a salt bath because getting those snails will make you end up with more to do. I didn't and now have baby pond snails and ramshorns and now my plants got white webs from the eggs hatching I think. At the moment I am trying to make my plants grow but those pest are making it hard.

I think im going to give the anacharis a try, my tank is around 80 degrees give or take a 1 degree...how exactly to give them a "salt bath"?

Like between 76 and 80. Higher than 80 will risk them to become poor growers and they also like water changes so I assume they like water currents in the water too.

thank you my tank thats with snails isn't that one in the profile though my other tank has more plants inside and don't include anacharis anymore but the picture one luckly has them

Also I estimated that temperature because if theres a betta fish inside the tank with the plants it is better for the fish in that range but if theres no fish then it can be lower than 76

Just add 1 cup of aquarium salt per gallon into a container and dissolve it into the water. Make sure water is warm not hot once this is done dip each plant 20 seconds max nothing over or you risk ruining the plants. Swish them around too to shake off potential snails or eggs
