how do you tie Java fern?

How would you tie java fern to drift wood? Do you use a rubberband?

You can use a rubber band or some cotton thread.

I think I'll try both because I have two java ferns and see what I like better, thanks guys

I used fishing line. It is strong and clear and works great.
