What is this silver hair-looking stuff in my tank?

There's this stuff along the bottom of my tank all around my lily plant, which is in the cove of a piece of driftwood... It looks like silver hairs. What is it?? I attached a pic. Thanks!

It looks like the plant's roots to me.

10 gallon planted - HMDT male betta, 4 peppered corys, assassin snails, Amano shrimp
10 gallon divided bare bottom - HMPK male, 2 VT males
29 gallon sorority planted [journal] - 6 females, 4 bronze corys, trumpet & nerite snails, 3 Amano shrimp

I don't think so... it's all just kind of sitting there on the bottom. I can see the plant's roots against the glass in the soil and they're much thicker.

Try to pull one out to see if it's attached to anything. I don't know what else it could be. What type of plant is it under?

They are roots
