I bought an Anubias from my petco for my 2.5 gallon betta tank. As I was rinsing off the gel from the roots, they literally fell off so it's just stems. I attached the stem and leaves to my rock with a rubber and and put them in my tank for now, but will the plant continue to grow? Or will it most likely die? Should I just take it back to petco?

It should be totally fine, just leave it be for now and wait for it to grow. I've had that happen many times with different plants and they always did fine when I just left them alone

I have the exact same one, its pretty hard to kill an anubias.
I managed to do it but it was in blackout for over a month. (there is still green on it)
