Hello, fellow scapers.
Recently I've been staring in despair at my very blah 23 gallon tank (an AquaOne 620, if anyone wants to google image pictures) and drooling over aquascapes on Pinterest. However, all of my ideas are dying on the altar of practicality.
Here are my specs:
- 23 gallon, 2ft wide, 1ft front to back.
- low light
- community with bettas, kuhlis, cories, a female BN pleco, and some Endlers (I'm letting these guys die out).
So, here's my challenge. If you can draw me a plan of what you would do (and I really don't care if it's a cruddy sketch in MS Paint, that's all I'm capable of too), and I choose to follow that for my design, I will draw you a beautiful, detailed, colourful (or greyscale) picture of your betta. It can be as a betta, as a human, as a merperson, as a dragon, whatever. Background or not, your choice.
Even if I don't follow your design to the letter, I will still do this for my favourite. :)
My ideal tank will use live plants, some driftwood, and some rocks. I don't mind ornaments - I have some lovely Asian-themed ones. I love wierd and interesting shapes. It will be relatively low-maintenance (no Dutch style - beautiful, but ain't nobody got time for that!) but cater to my fish's needs. :)
I don't know if this link will work, but here's a pinterest board of some tanks I love: http://www.pinterest.com/icmoyse/fish-and-fishy-things/
. Obviously I'm not capable of anything this cool, but I love seeing them as inspiration!
