Is this a good upgrade tank?

Hi everyone, I want to upgrade my betta tank! He is now residing in a one gallon bowl. I am thinking of upgrading to this tank. Is it good enough? I will not put a filter in it. I will probably put an under gravel heater in it. Thanks!

Here is the link to the tank.

That would be fine, but I would go check petco/petsmart they have little tanks like that cheaper, if tank size, well the space a tank takes up is not an issue I would get this http://www.truaqua.com/aquarium-tank-st320.html it comes to about 28 dollars shipped and is pretty nice I have one

2.5 gallons is a good size for a betta. If you have the room you could even go with the 5g- http://www.amazon.com/Aquarium-Tank-..._petsupplies_3

You can get decently priced adjustable heaters on eBay and amazon that would probably be better then a non-adjustable under gravel...

The brand of flake food is TetraMin and the pellet is Bettamin. He tries the Bettamin like he likes it, but swallows it like he's not capable.

You could try a higher quality pellet like new life spectrum or omega one... I would try the NLS, as the pellets are small and he would probably have an easier time swallowing them.
