I've only read a few of your entries (starting with your oldest) in your blog so far, but I just wanted to say you are HILARIOUS. The things you say are SO TRUE. And you are a great writer, seriously.

Awesome! I wanted to go to RIT for art but I'm a poor one so I am at SUNY Brockport. :) I used to work right up the street at Paychex on John Street. I grew up around here so I am "used to" the rain. I lived in CO for a few yrs though and I miss the sun. :)

Edit to my last post: Yes, Samm's a midland-western mix. I saw the map just now on that Wikipedia page.

Which I'm glad. 'Cause he looks prettier that way. C:

Samm's a painted turtle... My Mom found him as a baby turtle walking in the street around where she works, which is weird 'cause the pond wasn't even that close to the building. Technically he's wild, but I've had him for six years now (and he's fully grown), so I've domesticated him.
He still likes to bite, though. >>
And he's supposed to be a Midland, but I swear up and down he's a cross between a Midland and a Western... he has the Western's back shell pattern, but his belly's like the Midland's.
Or the article I found on Wikipedia has suck-ish pictures, lol.
By the way, here's that page: http:// en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Painted_Turtle
(get rid of the space btw)

I saw that you can get these kinds of turtles in pet shops... but I'm glad I caught Samm because I think the one I saw was being sold for 70-something dollars. X__x

But I most definitely can be wrong. Because I see more Red-Eared Sliders than anything.
(And I still prefer my flatter aquatic turtle, he just seems cuter. << )
