Yeah, there are a few different realms and in each realm, a few different areas. That's so you don't get all the players in one area at one time and have the game crash.

I am going to play as well. Hopefully I'll see you in the game!!

EDIT: I am in the Balestrom realm, area 3. Which realm and area are you in? In case you didn't know, you can check it out by pulling up your book via the Esc key. Then click on the icon next to the one with the star on it in the book. You'll see what realm and area your in that way.

I have two wizards. You'll eventually get one of those pig things when you hit level 7 or so. BTW its called a Piggle. You'll get invited to the Pet Pavilion by Headmaster Ambrose when your at that level, and you get a package to deliver to the guy in that area, where you'll discover that its a Stray Piggle inside, and then you get to keep it. But you have to have a Membership to be able to do that quest.

Okay, cool! I am working on my life wizard right now. Her name is Alura Dreambreeze. She is almost level 9, and she has a seraph pet, though its still just a baby. I am done playing tonight too (its past midnight) and am hoping to get into Crab Alley soon, to get this outfit I want for my other wizard. Its called the rockin' outfit and it looks so awesome.

Hmm. Well I think the test stripes might be the problem. They're known to be rather unreliable. Could you take your water by a pet store for a test? Make sure you ask them for the numbers. If they differ from your test stripes, you'll want to look at getting an API drip test kit.

Actually hardness and alkalinity (GH and KH respectively) are essential for goldfish. Basically they need water that is not soft. It doesn't matter exactly how hard it is, it just needs to be not soft.

Do you have any plants in the tank? It could be the bioload on the tank is soo small (well proportionatly) that the plants can take care of the ammonia. But that's not a bad thing. It allows the BB to grow as Comet grows. Also what are you using to test the water with?

If "sea monkeys" are the same species (or at least genus) as the brine shrimp people breed for fish I don't see why it wouldn't work. They are just sold as "sea monkeys" as a marketing gimmick. It will be more expensive, but provided they are the brine shrimp people normally feed I don't see why it would be a problem. Also, let me know how it goes. I might want to try this to treat my bettas.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply. The trip back from Sweden was pure torture. And now I'm waiting for the jetlag to kick in. x_x
I don't blame you for not wanting to giver her up. I get a little teary-eyed thinking about the possibility that I might have to give up my koi when we move from this house. And that's another 2-3 years. Little comet will be fine in that tank for the next year or so. Plus, with how small she is, I wouldn't put her in a pond with adult goldfish until she is at least a little bigger. At the very least, overwinter her in the tank. In my opinion, it's a little late in the season to add fish to a pond. They would only have about a month (depending on where you are) to grow and store fat before the winter comes.

She'll grow like a little golden weed! I love watching my koi and goldfish grow, too. With my youngest goldfish I can even see some growth after I've been gone a week! She'll become quite a healthy fat goldfish in a 75 gal. Bare-bottomed is probably best for right now. It will also make it easier to check on her poop and make sure everything is coming and going as it should.

If you're using the old filter, I would add her about an hour or so after everything settles. Leave the BB without a food source for too long and they start to die off. I'm eager to see pictures of your new setup! You'll be amazed at how much little Comet grows.

I'm always more than happy to help :) Fish (and well animals in general) are my passion. Any way I can spread that joy to another makes me happy!

Oh ya! Weekly water changes are a must with goldfish! I'm on vacation now for about 11 days, but I knew the one tank that couldn't be pushed that far is the goldfish tank. I had to bribe my mom to change the water. Dishes for a week is more than worth it.

Hmm. Only chlorine will evaporate from the water (which it does in about 48 hours). If your tap water has chloritamines in it, they can't be aged out. I highly recommend getting Prime as it's very concentrated and will take you a while to go through even with the large tank. Petsmart and Petco carry it.

For just little Comet, you're probably still going to need to do between 30% and 50%. In your case, nitrates will be a pretty good indicator. Whatever you have to do to keep the nitrates below 20ppm. This amount will probably get larger as she grows. Don't be surprised if she's a little nervous with all of that room. A few large root decorations should help with it. Single-tail goldfish are actually known to be a little more skittish than the fancies.

Depending on how stunted the goldfish is a 10 gal could be fine. For example if the poor thing was in a 3 or 5 gal tank, a 10 gal would be a great upgrade. You could also look into a 20 gal bucket for housing a larger fish. I have a 20 gal bucket that I use as a goldfish QT "tank." lol but it works!!
