    Tazman,

I have been working with Belonasox for some time and think other members either are not familiar with or have grave misperceptions about them. Understandably, they are not for everyone, but some of the more serious folks especially the ones working with South American fish may find and interest in them. Let me know your thoughts.

ALSO when you get back... I am looking to buy two powerheads for my goldfish tank. There is NO circulation behind the monstrous sword plants and all this mulm and garbage builds up there so I want to get some flow going...
But keeping in mind that goldfish can't swim (aha) I was wondering if 240GPH or 425GPH would be better for them.. I want a really light flow, and there will be two, so I'm thinking to get the smaller ones.. I am looking at Hydor Koralia right now since that's what I can get on Amazon. Also stupid question can I put the powerheads on the bottom of the tank or is there a better placement?

How much salt would I need to get a 15 gallon tank to 1.005sg? And doing 50% water changes do I add back 50% of the original amount? I don't want this cost me a lot of money haha.. I know I won't need a skimmer or anything like that.. When school starts up I will be at home every weekend to change water so my parents just need to feed them.. I want to get a figure 8 puffer.. and maybe a knight goby if the tank is big enough for the two. . I know the interwebs says both can live in freshwater fine but they also say they live longer in salty water.

I am told.. that sunday if quarantine goes well I can purchase the 4 Orange Chromides I want. I had given up hope- did not turn my 75 gallon tank into a brackish tank - I only have a 10 gallon just setting up today for the 4. Yes- too small for them in the long run but since these guys are small it should do till the other tank is switched. My problem is I do not have a seeded filter for brackish. I have 4 from angels plus #2 in a 75g & #2 in a 40g which now has 2 angels and new babies in it. The 10g will be on the low end brackish (this is wat they are currently being housed in)... What do I do for a seeded sponge? Can I use one out of the other tanks? )....I am thinking that the bacteria on the sponge will die do to shock going from fresh to brackish).

I will be asking if frank can send a seeded sponge along with the fish, but if he cant ..what should I do???

Hey, you're a bike-rider. Cool. What kind? I'm a roadie myself. Even have a recumbent.
