Guess biters are here to keep us on our toes? Sure glad these guys don't have teeth :). Not sure if I'm swuff enough to catch her before she it's the floor if she ever gets that carried away.

Have a female that attacks and jumps every time I open the feed door or lid just about. Shocked me the first nibble it attempted while I was pointing where her pellet went which I have always done. But really made me jump when it jumped out of the water and tried to nip me when I wasn't feeding it. She wasn't like that until she got into a cycled 5 gallon tank, guess 2 gallons kept her from being wild. The other 3 are content with staying in the water thank goodness.

Thanks for the help on my betta, nice to know some care. LOL got a big laugh out of your Owner pic of Betta Evolutiooon in your tag. Changing out the horse troff water I looked over and saw one of my goldfish on the ground thrown out with a bucket of water no telling how long. It survived though years ago.

About an inch. They've a small bioload though. but they need a lot of ground cover. I've java moss, baby tears, moss balls... XD have some duck bit or whatever it's called and some anacharis and amazon swords and some other floating plants.

He was alright. Swimming and investigating.
Now, he's at the bottom of his tank (it's about 80*F) now. His fins aren't really clamped and he still flares at my finger. Is he just resting or stressed out or? ;-; I be worried.

I know about acclimating (had fish all my life, except the past two years.) I was more wondering if when done i should dump the fish and water in the tank together or take him out of the water? He's been in the aquarium in his cup about 30 minutes now, and itching to get out. XD
