Hi just wondered where you got your little betta pictures from on the bottom of your posts? They are really pretty.

Oh man, I'm so so sorry to anybody who messaged me when I fell off the face of the earth, lol!

Unfortunately, my Outside-The-Internet life went crazy in the middle of October, and hasn't slowed down until just recently. :)

So, again, SO SORRY for anyone who messaged me to no avail! I was not ignoring you...I just got sucked into a non-message-board world for a while. :)

In the future, if anyone needs to reach me, please feel free to email at: TheIrishPony @ gmail.com. (take out the spaces, something weird with this system)
Even when I'm crazy I still check that one at least every couple of days. :)

    Happy Spring Everybody!!

Boy, Howdy..And ain't that the way.

Here's something I know you'll like. Click home and enjoy Patricia O'Connor. .grammarphobia.com/on-language-email (You'll have to do your own http etc. You know how it is around here.) Her Origins of the Specious is marvelous. I'll be getting the others soon.

I noticed it when the pooter-geeks started using access as a a transitive verb. It's been going downhill ever since. My latest mind-rash is what I call the "endless now" the abandonment of any version of past tense. It started with sportscasters; now, even narration on Nat Geo is corrupted by it. I've even heard my first example of future tense flumux.

Oh dear, I thought I'd put you on my friends' list a year ago. I am remiss. May I rectify that, now?

(I refuse to "friend" you. The gerundization of the language makes my teeth itch.)

The lack of clarity of expression is going to be the downfall.....(Oh, get over it, Hallyx!)

The expression is: Opinions are like noses, everybody has one and they all smell. There is a less refined version.

    Always a pleasure.

Have I mentioned how much I enjoy reading your posts? Straight-ahead declaritive. Tight phrasing (mostly...LoL) Good grammar; standard English. Your style should be more frequently emulated by contributors on here.

Hey, im just going to ask an experienced person this because i feel like alot of my post dont get answered. I just put some silk plants in my bettas tank and he seems to be laying in them. Is that normal? When hes in them it looks like hes stuck but when i look away for a couple seconds he has moved and is clearly not stuck. Just making sure this is normal behavior

Knoxville is the place to be. ;) I figure we've got it made down here, we've got all four seasons, mountains in our backyard, and it's really just a NICE place to live. :)

Hello! I'm new to the community, but not new to bettas. :) I'm always open to new information, and I hope that I'll be able to answer some questions while I learn some things here as well. :)
