Hey! I was just reading ur "emergencies and your betta" thread, and had a couple of questions... Would start a thread, but I'm not sure it would get answered in time... I'm going out of town for the whole summer, & am taking my 2 bettas, I have two 1gal Hefty brand plastic containers (water-tight, yet not ~quite~ water-proof, won't leak if kept upright) & the temps here for tomorrow (travel day) r highs of 68* lows of 52* ... Where I'm headed, (beach) it will be high of 68*, lows: 63* prob. warmer, it's an 8 hour drive, and I have a cooler to keep them in, should I have a heat pack in the cooler? And how long will their air last -if I leave about 1.5" to 2" in. of airspace? (container size is 9"L x 6.5"W x 6"H) *Thank You* so so very much! I hate to dump this on you, but this is the 1st time traveling w/ my fishies, I leave wens/thurs, and I didn't think of everything! :/
