hi there! i have a question, and you seem to be very educated on bettas :)
My little guy, Pieces, has a severe case of fin rot. he's in currently in a 1 gallon (until the 20gal is fully cycled) and ive been keeping the water VERY CLEAN, at a steady 78-79 degrees, its my 4th day using tetracycline, and ive also added in the stress coat. It seems like not much has changed. i dont want it to get any worse. what should i do??
Ive had him for about 5 months & we have developed a bond..although he has fin rot, he still has his personality, very social & active.. and likes to eat. i feed him bloodworms, pellets and flakes. i rotate it through out the week. is there any more advice u can give me??
Oh, i also just added in 1 teaspoon of aquarium salt.

Hey, someone was needing your help. It's about a weird fungus growth on their betta's head. Could you take a look at it? I mentioned you in the post, but I really have no idea what it is.

A big thank you for your help again. I've ordered some Attison's Betta Pro and it should be here by the end of the week. :)

Hey i have a question :) I think someone wrote that there is metal wire in the betta hammock? Is there any precautions before you put betta hammock in the tank? Check this link post #4 first picture what is that under the suction cup?

How do you keep the room at a constant temp without using a bunch of aquarium heaters? (or do you?)

I just want to know because I'm thinking about setting up my own...

Oh good! I wasn't expecting that you would watch my thread (the advice you gave already was helpful), I had just read over my response and thought it might have come off as rude. I do really appreciate the help. :)

Hey I just wanted to apologize if my response to your thoughts on Link's fins came off as rude at all. I have been pretty adamant for a while that the filter couldn't possibly be the problem, but I am most likely going to move him into a new tank without one to see if that helps. I suppose it was more of me wanting him to stay in his nice big tank than really thinking about all the possibilities. So again, I'm sorry if I seemed rude, and thank you for the extra nudge I needed to look at a different solution. :)

Thank's a lot I think I just needed someone who knows more about bettas to tell me that it's normal for them to be pale because I was stressing I really have become attached to him. I'm treating with Rid-ich plus It's working really well! the spots are gone (finally after 5 days) But he is still not as energetic as he usualy is and he's still pale. I have to medicate for 3 more days I just don't know if it's the medicine making him pale or the ich/damage from the parasites.. Thanks a lot for your time!
