I have 2 males and 1 female all living in a divided up 10 gallon heated/filtered tank.
My female seems to be acting very strangely. She will start swimming VERY fast around her divided cubical and then turn and twirl and then almost suspend herself in a curled position for a moment or two before she returns to normal. My older male will display at her and do some showing off, but he has made no attemps at a bubble nest. My young crowntail is the one who seems to be showing the interest and I woke up this morning to a small bubble nest that he started.
My main question here is in regards to the female. Is she okay? Is this type of behavior normal? Is she doing her share of showing off?
