Clams?

I was wondering, if clams are any good with Betta's xD

i think most clams you'll find for aquariums will either be cold-water or saltwater species, so neither will work in a tank with a betta. snails, however, there are a lot of very nice snails that would be wonderful. apple/mystery snails, assassin snails, MTS and ramshorns are all nice options.

none of them are big enough to grab hold of your betta, are they? if they snap shut while he's investigating, that could be troublesome because they have a STRONG grip (clams are basically made of shell and muscle)
