Whenever i change water, i have to wait a long time for the water to go back up to my desire water temperature. I'm wondering if there's any way i can use warm water + cold water from the tap and then add conditioner or i have to use cold water and then wait for the heater to go back up. My mom told me to always use cold water from the tap because there's less bacteria. But im just wondering.
Warm water from the tap doesn't contain any more bacteria than the cold stuff, or it wouldn't be safe for us to use. Water heaters are sealed systems. Unless yours has a leak, there won't be harmful stuff to any water coming out of it.
Most water conditioners have chemicals to remove heavy metals (iron & copper primarily).
