Ok I posted a few days ago that I had a pair spawn. It has been 2 days since they hatched and I no longer see babies falling out of the nest. Should I be able to see the babies in the bubbles or are they to hard to see? I just kinda am wondering if they all died or the daddy ate them...
Try using a magnifying glass and a flashlight to see if there is anything in the nest. I think they become free swimming after about 3 days.If you haven't removed the male by now, go ahead and remove him.
Ok I will try doing that to see if I can see anything. I have removed him just did that a little while ago because he had no interest in the nest what so ever.
If he had no interest in the nest then there is pobably no fry in the nest..The male will tell you everything by the way he acts around the nest...IF he didnt keep blowing bubbles after spawning, or the day after then the fry have probably died...
Crowntail is right...if he's showing no interest in the nest, then there may be no babies.
