Hey guys I thought I would start up a sale thread for my fish for sale! Check back often and see what I have!
Priority shipping is $10 (for up to 4 fish) with no live arrival guarantee. Express shipping is $20 (for up to 4 fish) with a live arrival guarantee. In the case of a dead fish take a photo of fish still in bag within 24 hours of the fish's arrival.
Payment: I accept Paypal, Money Orders and Personal Check (check must clear before betta is shipped out)
For Sale: Fancy Marble Crowntail Breeding Pair: The male is a fancy marble, the female is a lovely bi-color, I decided against breeding crowntails, so this is someone elses gain! $15 + shipping for the pair.
For Sale: Platinum Multi HM bred by Chard. It's hard for me to post this guy, but I need to realize I'll probably never breed him, and he deserves to be spawned. I paid $22 for him, I'm asking $15, and I'll throw in a free girl.
For Adoption: Green Dragon super delta male. A rescue from Petsmart. He is a tail biter, but otherwise super healty. Needs to go to someone with experience with tail biters. Free + Shipping.
For Adoption: Cambodian Doubletail Male. A rescue from Petco. He came to me severely under weight with awful finrot. Now he's healthy, gaining weight, his fin rot is all cleared up and he's ready for his forever home. I would like him to go to someone with the experience to help him grow his fins back. Free + Shipping.
For Adoption: This boy is not a rescue, He is from a breeder but he does not have the tail span that I'm looking for. He would make a beautiful pet or a great starter fish for an up and coming breeder. If you are interested in breeding I will throw in a free female. No charge for this guy, just shipping! (The fin damage was caused when he jumped a divider)
Oh, wow! Beautiful fish! : ) I love the last boy. One of my favorite color combos! Unfortunately, I don't trust our local post office with fish! Thought I suppose in the long run that saves money! Or I'd have a lot more bettas right now.
Is the green dragon delta in a tank alone or in a divided currently? Just wondering if he gets bored or just anixious. I've dealt with some tailbiters before, his doesn't look too bad at the moment, handsome boy!
Right now he is in a medium sized critter keeper, which he loves. I put him in a 5 gallon thinking the extra space would help, but it did the complete opposite, and by the next day he had chewed 1/2 of this tail off. Silly boy! He's happy as can be now back in his critter keeper!
For Adoption: Black butterfly super delta with metallic scaling. Beautiful healthy boy, nothing wrong, no health issues, was bought solely so that I could test the water right out of the cup from Petsmart. Free + shipping
For Adoption: Red Halfmoon Male. Came to me with awful finrot, as you can see from the sorry state of his tail! But its not growing back and he's doing fabulous. Free + Shipping
For Adoption: Super young crowntail male, also came in with awful finrot, most of his rays were burned off. But he's on the mend now and ready for his forever home! Free + Shipping.
I'm assuming that the black and red crowntail's fins will grow out, right? I'm going to look into adopting him. For him alone, would priority still be $5, or is back to ten?
Also, do you know what his temperament is like? If I were to adopt him, he'd be housed in a divided ten gallon with Vilkas, who's a very docile and non-aggressive fish.
Ok here are all of the ones that are still available!!
Priority is $5 for rescues if you just get one fish
For Adoption - Sparkles, a super young crowntail/combtail male. Very very cute, healthy, and active! Free + Shipping
For Adoption - Micah, a red Halfmoon male who came to me with very bad finrot, his fins are starting to grow back and he is very cute and healthy!! Free + Shipping
For Adoption - Poppet, an adorable and young little double tail male who came to me with severe finrot, but hes all better now, his fins are growing back and hes ready for his new home! Free + Shipping
For Adoption - Casper, a beautiful white veiltail who looks sky blue in some lights, with cellophanes edging on his fins. Free + Shipping
For Adoption - Ducky, a Beautiful Tri-band butterfly HM male. Free + Shipping
For Sale - Tang, Dark Orange HM with slight butterflying, bred by Blackwater Bettas. $5 + Shipping
I would take a few of them if you don't mind sending them all here. I've got lots of 10 gallon tanks waiting for new boys and still need a bunch of girls. What is shipping for Sparkles, Micah, Poppet and Casper? They'll all be well taken care of, at least 5 gallons of filtered, heated water each and a large variety of food.
I would just like to thank those of you who are adopting bettas this week! They are all set to be shipped to their new homes tomorrow, and I now have space to take in 5 new rescues, and hopefully make their lives better. Thanks again to everyone!
Well you picked a good place to adopt them out, lol. Can't wait to get those beautiful boys!
I'm setting up a divided 20 gallon for 3 of them, and the other will go in a divided 10 gallon, beside Corrin. Just depends who is in what shape and how big they are. I'll probably keep the smallest one with Corrin, less room and all. But til the big tank is established and they've been quarantined, I've got a 10 gallon tank for each of them *nodnod*
You're an angel, give me a yell if you have any more that need new homes. I've got the room and the means to care for them! (though now that there are so many, my friends and family are calling me the crazy fish lady >.>)
YAY! I waited outside at the end of the driveway for the mail woman this morning, lol! The boys are here, and they all look pretty good. Very active and healthy looking, all 4 are eating, but the white one came in with ich. They're all being treated, just in case, and watched closely (They're right above my monitor, on a shelf, where I put all my quarantines) and their little personalities are already coming out!
The double tail and the crown tail are both very personable, they love following my finger, and the one with the most fin damage, the halfmoon, is so so active! I'm keeping an extra close eye on the white boy, he's kinda skittish and a little clamped, but that's expected right now. He'll feel better, soon!
Forgive me if I pick a few new names for them. My brother will want to name the one that's going in his room, and I'll probably name them based on personality, but if I rename them, I'll tell you! Thank you so so much for rescuing these beautiful boys and sending them my way, I already love them!
I just saw this!! I am so happy that they all arrived safe and sound!! I always get so nervous when shipping! The white boy didn't have ich when he left, stress from shipping maybe? I can't wait to hear their new names!! And I really can't wait to see pictures of them in their new home!! Thank you bunches for adopting these boys!! :-D:-D
