How often to feed?

The small cup I brought my male crowntail betta home in said to feed him every other day. The betta food that I bought said to feed twice a day. Which one is correct?

Most feed 2 times a day, 2-3 pellets (correct me if Im wrong!) and fast for 1 day.

I feed 2-3 pellets two times a day or 2 pellets three times a day. I have yet to reach the fasting phase but I only plan on giving 1 pellet in the morning and 1 at night every Saturday.

Small, multiple meals a day is idea.. 2-3 feedings is common.. the amount of pellets depends on the pellets you buy. A lot of the tetra ones I would feed 2-3 per feeding.. but if you go Omega, I tend to feed mine roughly 6 Omega pellets per meal.. as they are tiny.

A variety of food is ideal, but you definitely want to feed daily.
