Smile Divided Ten Gallon Advice and suggestions!

Hi! Ive been planning my divided ten gallon for two males. I already have my baby and Im just wondering if my plans are accurate and safe for them and need some tweaking!!

The images are what I have so far. I plan on buying more gravel stones for the tank and more foliage for the other side because its obviously bear. And Im buying an updated heater this weekend to heat the new tank size ^^

However, do I need a better filter? I would rather not buy one because honestly money is really tight but if it would be bad for my fish I don't want them sick !^^ Also do I need a bubbler thinga majig?(oh yeah loving the technical terms..)

Any advice for introducing fish the the divided tank? It will be two males (one on each side of courses!) Im just worried about them getting used to the other fish so any suggestions?

If you are going to use a filter put it in the middle of the tank. A filter is reccomended for larger tanks as it takes a lot of the work away. If you really don't want one then you don't need one just do like 2 water changes a week 1 50% and 1 100% I guess. i recommend Cycling.

No you do not need a bubbler.

Introduce the fish to the tank the same way you would with any other fish. Just watch both males for a while to make sure sharing a tank doesn't stress them out. It works for some fish, but not all.

If you want to add a filter later go for it, and wait. You will just have to do a fish in cycle. It would be better to do fishless, but if it isn't in your budget and you can make the nessesary water changes it should be fine.

Oh forgot to mention I have the same filter in my 10 gallon and it works okay. It would probably work better for you since you only have two fish. But it actually seems to do a fine job in mine. You could just use that.
