Holes in Tail

My betta, Sapphire has sometimes had little holes in his fins. Sometimes they are larger and sometimes they are huge. The only cause I can think of is a plastic pink plant with kinda sharp leaves. How can I treat this??? PLEASE HELP!

Keep the water cleaner with more water changes during the week. Up the temp to 80 degrees and feed a high protein diet. How often are you changing the water during the week and what temperature is the tank at?

You should also take out the suspect decoration and replace it with a softer one.

Can you post a picture of the holes?

Also, adding a stress cost is supposed to help, but only use as much as is recomended. Might also try caffeine-free Rooibos tea.
