LOL. It wasn't easy. I still would have to read the pattern end to end to do it again. xD I made a mistake somewhere because it wasn't supposed to be that big. Oh, well. I love berets.

My grandmother taught me to knit and crochet. RIP gram <3 u Here is the last afghan she made before she passed on Sept 11, 2011. I don't have any pics of what I have done but this is to show u what a 89 yr old woman with stage 4 cancer and amazing talent can do.

Yarn show off!
I bought this at a local yarn shop. I LOVE it and will be making myself a shawl with it. It's super soft!

And this is what I bought from Leeniex.

I love cross stitching...If anyone has patterns its good to share them seeing they are not cheap. We can share and download patterns and print them. I had a teacher in 7th grade that copied all her patterns for me (many years ago)

If there is yarn in heaven then my grandmother is in her glory ( she is anyways) She was remarkable, she made many mistakes on her recent stuff but she didn't have very good hand eye coordination due to as much pain as she was in but I cherish every little mistake she made and know that she put her heart in everything she did. I started out by making scarves for my barbie dolls when I was little, then we upgraded to making clothes for my cabbage patch dolls. She made the best dish cloths and I don't think anything store bought could compare. Can you post some of your work please :D

These are my latest finished socks and a medallion wrap I'm working on.

I'm also working on two more pairs of socks and a lace scarf. I like to start projects.
