Betta Fighting ... WHY?!

I breed betta 5 stars fighter but i don't conduct betta fighting, my customers do it.
I agree with few of you regarding this subject.
Don't matter if you have a ct, vt, super delta, round tail, split tail, hm, hmplkat, giant, wild type, males or females, they are all fighting fish. Plakat fighters came popular because they are very active and healthy fishes not unlike the hm, vt and super delta. A plakat fighter can stay in a horrible water in a small space for several weeks or months without any problem. A hm or vt and super delta will die quickly. Hm may be the prettiest fishes but they are also the weakness comparing to the short tails.
Fighting fish in any part of Asia is part of the Asian society, even today you can go anywhere in Asia, young and old people still conducting fighting fishes.
Most of you can say whatever you want about betta fighting, you would never be able to stop that because it is in their blood.

I can imagine a halfmoon would be a bad fighter do to all that finnage anyways :p

It is all depend on luck don't matter the size of your betta. I have seen regular fighter chasing giant hmplakat. I also saw Thai people cutting hm tail and fins all around to make them look like a short tail.

my own plakat is 2 years old. she's my healthiest betta by far. why? because Plakats aren't bred for looks. only winners are bred, so they're healthier.

while i disagree with fighting like the rest of ya'll, i respect the way they're treated when they're not fighting. i learn from that. my fin treatment tips i know, i learned from fighters. they aren't heartless humans who do it for fun. many do it to make a living.

I don't have a huge problem with professional fighting, though I'd rather they did snail-racing or something instead, but that just seems cruel.

I might see Shiloh getting into a scat o_O half flare and all. But I'm pretty sure a betta against a cichlid/gourami was not a fair fight -.- and that wasn't because someone thought it was fun - it was the store's discretion :o
