I was planning on making this log at the end of this month. But since I'm no longer power growing these guys..... I thought there wouldn't be any difference. Further I will be posting in pieces.

Giant Spawn Log (hatched) 25 July 2011
Tank size : 50g+
Water: 1/3 of tank, aged for about 3 weeks.
Set up: Bare bottom, few plants at one end, covered top at opposite end.
Male – Copper 8 ray PK 5.5cm
Age said to be 4 months
Genetic back ground unknown
Female - platinum 4 ray PK 5.5 cm
Age unknown
Genetic back ground unknown

NOTE: Male was left with the fry (no pictures)
Food: constant supply of live tubifex worms and daphnia
Egg yolk 3 times daily (morning, noon, and late afternoon)
Occasional mosquito larva for the male.
Pic. 3 : 1 week old fry = 3-10mm
Pic. 4 : Fry learning to eat chopped bloodworm

NOTE : Fry are fed every 2-3 hours from 7 am to midnight.
