Symptoms and Treatment
How has your betta fish's appearance changed?
She has developed a bump on her jaw and another just behind her pectoral fin. She also appears to be slightly less irridescent than usual.
How has your betta fish's behavior changed?
It hasn't. She has a great appetite, swims around actively and in all other ways appears healthy.
When did you start noticing the symptoms?
Just now.
Have you started treating your fish? If so, how?
No.
Does your fish have any history of being ill?
No, but I got her from a pretty dodgy shop.
How old is your fish (approximately)?
I've had her since about October, so she must be around about a year old now.
She doesn't seem sick or in pain, but can anyone tell me what to do if these lumps continue to grow or multiply? Should I act now? I don't have a seperate tank to treat her in and she loves the tank she is in.
What can I expect from these lumps?
