Rock Question

So my room mate has had two of her sorority girls die in the last 3 days and she has decided to clean her tank with bleach. However, I was wondering if she should bleach her rocks too or just start over and get new ones?

I would say bleach it, bleach kills everything (well not everything but you know what I mean).

Yeah that is good. Either way works but bleach is much cheaper. Just remember to let it dry out then wash it or wash it a whole lot. Bleach will be your nightmare if you didn't rinse it out well enough.

I don't use harsh cleaners in any tank. A tank though doesn't have many surfaces and could be easy to make sure its washed completely. Rocks on the other hand it would be a nightmare to make sure they are washed and completely free of the bleach. I would just get new rocks and avoid a headache and potential problems. If you cant just make sure they are washed real good and soak/rinse as many times as it takes.
