Picky Eater?

My betta, has been acting strange the past few days. I have had for about a week now, and I have been feeding him both pellets, and flakes. He never really ate the pellets, he would bite it and spit it out. Now he has started eatting the pellets, and after about 30 seconds he spits it out. Is he just not hungry or what's going on?

hmmmm ya this happens with salt-water fish all the time at your lfs there will be a bottle of stuff in the marine section called garlique boost or something close to that. what i don't know is that if this product is safe for Betta. Also yo should smash the pellets with like a butter knife then it will be easier to swallow for him.[/code]
