Hmm, well you intend on keeping a betta in it? a heater, even a marimo moss ball or two, and a fish xD or shrimp. Some people like to keep shrimp.

I was thinking of a betta, it used to be my betta's old home. :) Would a bristlenose pleco be happy in it?

Pleco's, from my understanding, need huge tanks to grow in. I wouldn't put a pleco in there unless you intend to move it to a larger tank later.

Bristlenoses are small and grow to be as big as a clown pleco. But yeah, I have a 29 gallon. :)

I don't recommend a pleco in it.. mainly because most fish need a cycled tank, and 2.5 is very very unstable if you actually accomplish a cycle in it...

Same with other fish other than a betta, or even shrimp. :p Neon tetras need tons of room, and groups of 5 or more (usually 8 or 10 is better) because they are active :3

in a tank as small as a 2.5, you can't keep much. one betta. or a few shrimp. nothing else.

all pleco species need larger tanks. not because of size, but bioload. :I

Or you could keep a snail. Not a mystery/apple snail (they get huge O.o). Maybe a nerite, or a pond snail. ;)
