If you ate getting waffets or pellets don't get the algae ones! Ghost shrimp are scavengers so get a meatier one. I have one by Hikari that is quite good.

Try dropping the shrimp food in after lights out. The betta will have a harder time finding it.

I find the best food for the shrimps in my tank are sinking pellets because they immediately sink without being soaked beforehand and the shrimps love them!!!also try feeding your boy at the opposite side of the tank from the shrimp, and maybe try playing a game with him to keep him occupied

I tried an algae wafer and my betta, aptly named Pig, gorged himself on it until he looked like he was going to explode. No more of those! The sinking pellets work best but I have to really distract Pig or he'll also go for it. Piggie.

My girls and my killies always grab the cory pellets and swim away with them. They can't hold on to them, though, because they are too big, so the cories still get their meal. I use Nutrafin sinking catfish pellets, if that helps. :)

Just a reminder. Ghost shrimp are scavengers and should be given meaty foods, that is why they have claws, to tear dead fish apart and so fourth. They also eat poop though as their are actually nutrients still in the poop.

Get sinking catfish waffers as most catfish also eat mostly meaty foods. I also found out ghost shrimp love thawed frozen bloodworms or live bloodworms, they are also easier to hide for the shrimp to find.

Also what I do is I crush up the pellets or waffers a tad smaller so my girls have a harder time finding them... They still do but not all of them.
